The Mashin Mini is the latest mini balisong in the Jimpy lineup. I'm still on a mission to make mini balisongs better than they ever were, and the Mashin Mini is leading the charge. It's got everything you can ask for in a balisong crammed into a tiny EDC friendly package. Milled S35VN blade steel, 6AL-4V titanium channel handles, hand tuned bushings, and fitted washers. The weehawk blade shape was designed with aesthetics, usability, and flipping in mind. And yes, the Mashin Mini is a very competent flipper despite its size.
Despite the fact that I'm not the greatest flipper, I'm still able to perform every trick I know with it. Rollovers, fans, ladders, aerials, chaplins, etc. When it comes to flipping minis, you need to make tiny adjustments to your grips and such to get them to do what you want. Just a few minutes of practice is all it takes to get the hang of it. Being able to flip a mini balisong so easily is an experience I'll never get over.
The Mashin Mini was designed to be an EDC friendly balisong, so cutting performance and ergonomics were taken into consideration during the design process. The large pill slots in the handles allow your fingers to lock in for an extra solid grip. This applies to reverse grips as well. The tang and spine geometry work together to allow for comfortable finger placement. Plenty of room for your thumb as well as your pointer finger if you need to choke up for a cutting task. The swedge is designed to leave an adequate amount of material for your thumb to rest pretty high up on the spine. The edge holds up well even after monotonous paper, rope, and cardboard cutting tests. I find the Mashin Mini to be quite comfortable in the hand, and proves to be a capable tool for everyday use.

Difference Between Grade A & Grade B:
Grade A Mashin Mini These are as close to perfect as possible from “factory”. Practically no cosmetic imperfections. These are listed at full price.
Grade B Mashin Mini These may show minor scratches/blemishes/inconsistencies on the blade, handles, or both. Overall, Grade B Zentinel Minis still flip great, have a great tune, and have a very clean finish but are not able to be classified as near perfect like a Grade A Zentinel Mini. The price reflects said deviations in quality.
Grade C Mashin Mini These may show noticeable scratches/blemishes/inconsistencies on the blade, handles, or both. Overall, Grade C Zentinel Minis still flip great, have a great tune, and have a clean finish. The price reflects said deviations in quality.

Some may have minuscule blemishes or inconsistencies even after careful inspection and hand finishing. Keep in mind, the Mashin Mini was designed to be flipped, used, and enjoyed. Once you start using it, it’s going to get dinged, dropped, smacked, and battle worn anyway. You may find a tiny scratch or two. You may also find the machining is not truly 100% perfect. Even though we all strive for/expect literal perfection, once again, nothing is truly perfect.
